PICC LEARNING COMMUNITIES SIGN UP
SUNDAY  9:15-10:15a and 10:45-11:45a

Knowledge of God and His word are key parts of being a spiritually mature follower of Christ. PICC is offering a variety of communities that will focus on developing our understanding of God and His word. OUR SUNDAY MORNING CLASSES WILL BEGIN ON JANUARY 14.

SUNDAY  9:15-10:15a

Mark
Where: Chapel
Leader: David Rhodes (Pastor of Spiritual Formation PICC)
What: We are continuing our journey through Mark. Generally accepted as the earliest of the four gospels, Mark is the story of Jesus as seen through the eyes of Peter. It was written by Peter’s protégé, John Mark. Mark is primarily the story of what Jesus did. The acts of Jesus reveal Him repeatedly doing what no one else could do and lead to the inevitable conclusion voiced by a Roman centurion who helped crucify Jesus: “Truly this man was God’s Son.”

CORNERSTONE - Building Lives and Families on Christ
Where:
Building H
Leaders:
Jim and Peggy Morgan (Veteran young adult ministries leaders)
What:  The heart and soul of our time together in Cornerstone will be the realization that the Bible is the greatest guide ever written for our marriages, parenting, careers, and lives.   Peg and Jim will be openly sharing the many lessons they have learned during their 50+ years together (most of which were learned the hard way). Our hope is that the class time will be filled with learning, laughter, and fellowship.  Ideally, the final result will be an increased desire to build every aspect of our lives biblically with Jesus Christ as the Cornerstone.
“The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.” Psalm 118:22 and I Peter 2:7(b)

Profiting from the Prophets- Ezekiel
Where:  Ministry House
Leader:  Lydia Barrows
(Bible Teacher) and John Pritchard (Bible Teacher)
What:   Ezekiel calls us to join in a fresh and living encounter with God and be overcomers in any situation.  Ezekiel challenges us with a look at future, world changing, end time events.

Student Ministries Café&Convo
Where:
Upstairs Building K
Leader:  Dustin/Christy Thompson, Josh/Lori Wright, and Thomas Howard
What:  This group is for all 6-12th students. We will grow deeper in trusting God for our personal identity and believe who God says we are. Everyone meets together and then breaks into separate guys/girls small groups.

SUNDAYS  10:45-11:45a

Biblical Citizenship (Begins 2/11)
Where:  Chapel
Leaders:  Kim and Joyce Partenheimer
(Concerned Citizens)
What: An 8-week online video presentation teaching how the Bible influenced the founding of our country and the responsibility we have as citizens. Throughout our history, American pastors and churches have played a vital role in establishing and preserving religious and civil liberty. Being Biblical Citizens requires a knowledge of Biblical principles and how to apply them to the world around us. We can be the catalyst for restoring Biblical values in our neighborhoods, State, and Nation through taking this class.
